What is the LANAP gum treatment?

The LANAP (Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure) is a minimally invasive treatment that uses the PerioLase® MVP-7 laser to treat periodontal disease and regenerate lost bone and tissue.

Periodontal or gum disease is an infection that eats away at your gums and tooth-supporting bone. It occurs when plaque, a sticky form of bacteria, accumulates on the gums. Plaque releases toxins that erode your gums and underlying bone.
